LEWISTON — USM LAC Senior College members attended many one-day short winter classes on a variety of subjects, from travelogues to painting, issues of health to historical insights, and three days of playing games both old and new.

Meanwhile, other members were out and about with club activities. Cross-country ski club members visited Pinelands and have plans for each week through February and March. The Outdoor Adventure Club put on their snowshoes to go exploring. Theater Club is attending the “Radio Days” play in Monmouth, and the Dine Around Club continues its monthly exploration of meals in the greater LA area.

The catalogue for spring courses was mailed to members Feb. 14 and is available at libraries and other locations in the area or review the catalogue online at usm.maine.edu/seniorcollege. On the left click “Academic Info” to reach the catalogue. Online registration for spring courses began Feb. 21.

It is not too late to join senior college for the remainder of the academic year. A $25 membership will open the way to registering for spring classes and club membership extending through the summer.
