LEWISTON — Tickets are available for the seventh annual Maine’s Got Talent, slated for Saturday, March 10, at the Gendron Franco Center, 46 Cedar St. The event will start with a pre-show reception at 6 p.m., with show starting at 7:30 p.m.

The event, modeled after “America’s Got Talent” and “American Idol,” features 10 pre-selected musical performers competing for cash prizes in front of a live and engaged audience. Each performer is judged on a scale of 1 to 10 from three local celebrity judges, as well as from audience participation and feedback.

Maine’s Got Talent is an annual fundraiser for Sandcastle Clinical and Educational Services, which provides a full range of clinical and educational services to individuals of all ages and abilities, and LA Hearing Center.

Maine’s Got Talent has showcased musicians ranging from eight-person house bands to lone acoustic singer-songwriters, large-scale collegiate a capella groups and teen singers with ambition.

“We are excited to be presenting the seventh annual Maine’s Got Talent event on March 10,” said Sandcastle Executive Director Stephanie Gelinas. “As Sandcastle’s and LA Hearing Center’s biggest fundraising event, we are so appreciative of family and friends in our community showing their support, buying tickets and joining us for a wonderful evening. The audience is in for quite a show this year – it’s filled with diversity, amazing talent and quality entertainment.”

Tickets are offered in three sections of the Gendron Franco Center performance hall: Section A at $45, Section B at $35 and section C at $25. Tickets can be purchased through sandcastle.org, francocenter.org or by calling the box office at 207-783-1585 or on the Maine’s Got Talent Facebook event page.
