Sun Journal Sports’ Adam Robinson spent the night Saturday documenting the Lewiston High School Blue Devils’ run to their 23rd Class A state title.
Lewiston has now won three in a row after a drought lasting from 2002-2016. The Devils trail only St. Dom’s in lifetime Class A titles. The Saints have won 24, though none since 2000.
With the win, coach Jamie Belleau has now earned five state titles — two with Edward Little in 2003-04, and the three recent Lewiston crowns.
