LEWISTON — Lewiston Elks Lodge has karaoke from 7 to 11 p.m. Fridays.

New members are always welcome to join.

Auburn Art Club to hear talk by sisters

AUBURN — The Auburn Art Club will meet at 2 p.m. Monday, April 2, at the Auburn Methodist Church, Park Avenue.

Chairwoman will be Jill Jones. She will be assisted by members of her committee: Lorraine Desjardin, Genevieve Dussault, Barbara Johnson, Melanie Ness and Rachel Robinov.

The guest speakers will be sisters Shelley Lance-Fulk and Jacklyn Amtower of Beaver Cove, a small rural community a few miles north of Greenville. The sisters have been traveling and photographing wildlife in Maine and around the world since their teens. They have visited all seven continents and their passports have stamps from more than 75 countries.

Their experiences of adventure, enlightenment and respect for animals will be shared in a number of tales and stories with accompanying photographs taken during their travels.

Auburn Church collecting hygiene products 

AUBURN — The Auburn United Methodist Church is supporting the Center for Wisdom’s Women by helping supply hygiene products for the women that they serve.

Requested donations include shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, body wash, disposable razors, lotion, lip balm and feminine hygiene products.

Cribbage league to play

LEWISTON — Lewiston Senior Citizens Cribbage League plays Thursdays at the Lewiston Memorial Armory, 65 Central Ave. 

Doors open at 8 a.m., and games will begin at 9 a.m. The league plays through April, but games are played year-round.
