DIXFIELD — David L. Jarvis passed away Sunday, March 11, after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Bath on Oct. 9, 1945, the son of Harold and Edyth Jarvis, of Rumford. He married his wife of 46 years, Brenda Jarvis, on June 26, 1971.

David worked at various wood mills in Dixfield and retired from the Maine Department of Transportation. He loved hunting, fishing, gardening and nature.
