LEWISTON — Lewiston Public Schools has announced the registration schedule for the 2018-2019 kindergarten classes.
Registration will take place during the week of May 14 to 18. Children do not need to be present at registration; appointment for screenings will be at the beginning of the school year. Parents and guardians must make an appointments at their in-district school:
• Farwell Elementary School, 207-795-4110;
• Geiger Elementary School, 207-795-4160;
• Longley Elementary School, 207-795-4120;
• Martel Elementary School, 207-795-4130;
• McMahon Elementary School, 207-795-4140; or
• Montello Elementary School, 207-795-4150.
Parents and guardians are required to bring the following documentation: official birth certificate (child must be 5 by Oct. 15, 2018); an I-94 or green card if the child was not born in the U.S.; immunization records; proof of residency, such as a driver’s license with school appropriate address, lease or rent agreement, utility bills or mortgage agreement.
Students attending pre-kindergarten in Lewiston Public Schools do not have to register for kindergarten.
