LEWISTON — Calvary United Methodist Church will hold the annual spring rummage and clothing sale from 2 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 6, and 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 7.
The space is handicapped-accessible. The church is at 59 Sabattus St., but the sale entrance is on the Bartlett Street side. Look for the signs.

RUMFORD — Gigi’s Closet will host “Change of Season … Shop for a Reason,” to benefit Leah Perry, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 7, at the Karate Academy, 77 Canal St.
Perry is battling a rare GATA2 genetic disorder. She has been hospitalized in Boston since Feb. 8. She is being tested for a bone marrow transplant.

WAYNE — The First Saturday at the Williams House will include a book sale, boutique and breakfast from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 7, at 14 Old Winthrop Road

LEWISTON — Pause for Pets, a craft and vendor fair to benefit the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society, will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, April 8, at the Ramada Inn. Admission is free.
There will be over 50 local crafters and vendors offering a variety of products and services for the family, including pets. There will be a 50/50 and raffle, with proceeds going to GAHS.
Volunteers and staffers from GAHS will be on hand to discuss the shelter’s programs and services. They will also collect donations of pet food, litter, bleach, clean newspapers and other essential items.
Pause for Pets fairs have been held twice a year since 2012, and have raised thousands of dollars for GAHS. They are planned by sisters Lauren Odiorne and Shannon Vishe of Lewiston.
