SEARSPORT — GAC Chemical Corp. announces that it has hired Craig Martin as vice president of sales and marketing.

Martin is originally from Rumford and is a 1989 graduate of the University of Maine, Orono. He has more than 30 years of experience in the pulp and paper and specialty chemical industries. Most recently, he was the North America sales director for Trinseo. During his career, he developed a reputation of leadership and integrity with his track record of successes and his commitment to his customers in a wide variety of different industry sectors.

Martin and his wife have two children and reside in Poland.
