LEWISTON — Geiger of Lewiston recently presented its quarterly Geiger Star Awards. These awards are given to associates who have been nominated by fellow associates in recognition of their efforts to work the values of “The Geiger Way.” For this quarter, three individuals were named.
Anna Pittman, who was recently promoted to product data team leader in the IT department, created an Access sales database to replace an Excel spreadsheet that was used by both marketing teams to track the adding and removing of sales items to the websites. Pittman has been with Geiger for more than three years and has demonstrated the Geiger Way values of “customer satisfaction” and “process improvement.”
Michael French, assistant web and marketing manager in corporate programs, created the first mobile responsive program site for Geiger. The end result of this effort is two sites that function well on mobile devices and computers that seem like a single site to the end user. He has been with Geiger for almost seven years and exhibited the Geiger Way value of “customer satisfaction.”
Patti Gallant, order expediting specialist in total care, has been a tremendous help with training a new team member and working with people from other departments to give an overview of the order expediting process. She has been with Geiger almost 22 years and demonstrated the Geiger Way values of “customer satisfaction,” “process improvement” and “leadership.”
