The U.S. Constitution begins with the words “We the people …” and basically says that all citizens have the right to vote. I encourage all citizens to register to vote and then vote in all elections.

Voters need to elect individuals who will always act and vote in the best interests of all the people in Maine.

I want to encourage everyone to take the time to understand that there are some elected officials in both Augusta and Washington who support corporations at the expense of the public.

I am supporting Janet Mills for governor and Jared Golden for Congress. Both have the experience from their service as state representatives, and both have been in other leadership positions. Mills is Maine’s attorney general and served as the district attorney for the tri-county area. Golden is the current assistant majority leader.

Every vote is important. I urge people to vote.
