LEWISTON — Toby Ramsay, 55, passed away suddenly Tuesday, April 17, at Central

Maine Medical Center due to a battle with cancer, with his family and friends by his side.

Toby was born in Lewiston on March 12, 1963, the son of Donald and Betty Ramsay. He graduated from Oxford Hills in 1981, started working all kinds of jobs until he found his passion in being a very talented interior carpenter. He had a love of building kitchen tables and benches and much more,

Toby married Annette Ramsay on May 7, 2005, in Cape Cod, where he helped raise her four children, and two of his four children.

He enjoyed bringing his family and friends on fishing trips, camping and snowmobiling every year; he always wanted everyone to have fun and enjoy themselves. He was building a beautiful home for his wife he did not get to finish.

Toby is survived by his wife, Annette Ramsay; daughters, Casey, Kala, Natasha and Kelly; sons, Brett, Sam, Kyle and Adam; mother, Betty Chouinard; stepfather, Bill Chouinard; sisters, Judy, Tammy and Wendy; and six grandchildren, with one on the way.
