Maxim McFarland, 10, rests in his room Monday at The Barbara Bush Children's Hospital in Portland. McFarland has been in the hospital since rescuers pulled him from the Androscoggin River on April 24. McFarland and his 5-year-old brother, Valerio, fell into the river that evening.
