Update: Litchfield woman reported missing is located in Southwest Harbor

Maine State Police on Monday issued a silver alert for a Litchfield woman who failed to show up at a relative’s house in Bangor on Sunday.

Jacka Beckwith, 77, has memory issues and is driving a red Subaru Legacy with Maine license plate 9186UK, police said. She was spotted early Monday morning in the Washington County town of Baileyville, where she stopped at a convenience store to ask directions to Bangor. Staff later learned that police are looking for her.

Anyone who spots her car should call 911.
