FRYEBURG — The Saco Valley Beef, Sheep and Dairy annual take-a-chance ticket auction will take place Saturday, May 12, at the Fryeburg Fairground in the Natural Resource Building.
Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. and tickets will be drawn at 6:30 p.m. There will be a dollar table and food booth.

HARTFORD — A plant sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 12, at the J & O Irish Museum, Route 140.
Perennials will be $3 each; shrubs, $5. There will be garden related raffle items, drinks and desserts inside the museum.

LEWISTON — Tommy’s Feral Feline Friends will have a Mother’s Day bake sale and bottle drive from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, May 12 and 13, in front of Chapter 11, 707 Main St.
Proceeds will go a long way to help continue to save the lives of the forgotten feral cats of the colonies. After a harsh winter and struggle to obtain financial resources for medical care, the organization is more than ever in need of funds to help rebuild the cat’s colonies.

LISBON FALLS — Lisbon United Methodist Church, 14 School St., will hold its annual spring plants and bake sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 12. Select from an assortment of potted plants for a personalized gift.
This year, the selection of annual flowers, vegetables and perennials will include flowering shrubs and fruit trees from local nurseries. Plants will be supplied by local gardeners.
There will be homemade pies, cakes or other baked goods at the bake sale. Knives and cutlery will also be on sale.
The annual event raises money to support local and regional organizations. The sale will be held rain or shine.
