MECHANIC FALLS — Marian L. Ray, “Mother Mary,” 88, of Mechanic Falls passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family, on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 13.
She was born in Wales on Nov. 16, 1929, to Charles Hotham Sr. and Iva Page.
She is survived by her sons Daniel P. Carr, Oxford, and Dellbert C. Ray Jr., Oxford; daughters Rose A. Rowe, Oxford, Stephanie M. Walker, Mechanic Falls, Bonnie L. Carr, Auburn, Kathleen E. Boynton, Mechanic Falls, Penny L. Friree, Mechanic Falls and Pamela L. Sampson, Lewiston; brother, Floyd Hotham, New Gloucester. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband, Dellbert C. Ray Sr.; and sons Glen B. Carr and William E. Carr.
