Minot Historical Society members, Minot Junior History Club members and Minot residents gathered to plant five apple trees at the History House in Center Minot on April 28. The trees, a gift for the house, are heirloom varieties traditionally grown in the New England area. They were planted in memory of Eda Tripp, a leader in the Minot community and founding member of the Minot Historical Society. From left are Nikki Hastings and daughter, Avi, Julian Thorpe, Elaina Olson, Levi Olson, Derek Olson, Bob Olson, Donna Berry, Katy Sperl, Bradley Sperl, Nick Grenier and Jake Hart.
