LEWISTON — The Lewiston Auburn Metro Chamber will host “Power Trip: Clean Energy Tour of Geiger” from noon to 1:30 p.m. June 19 at Geiger, 70 Mount Hope Ave.
ReVision Energy and Geiger will show Geiger’s newly installed solar array. This grid-tied ground mount system produces 303,000 kilowatt-hours annually, drastically reducing Geiger’s energy costs. Geiger and ReVision Energy will go over the planning and execution of this system, and discuss how to transition to clean energy.
The tour is open to business owners, homeowners, employees and community members. It will be presented by Peter Geiger, owner and executive vice president, and Geoff Sparrow, director of engineering for ReVision Energy.
