DEAR SUN SPOTS: Could you possibly find me the words of two of the Bee Gees’ songs, “How Do You Mend a Broken Heart?” and “How Deep is Your Love?” I saw the Bee Gees in concert on Channel 10 and especially loved those two songs. Thank you so much.

ANSWER: Here are your lyrics. Barry and Robin Gibb wrote “How Do You Mend a Broken Heart?” Barry, Robin and Maurice Gibb wrote “How Deep is Your Love?”
How Do You Mend a Broken Heart: “I can think of younger days when living for my life was everything a man could want to do. I could never see tomorrow but I was never told about the sorrow. How can you mend a broken heart? How can you stop the rain from falling down? How can you stop the sun from shining? What makes the world go round? How can you mend this broken man? How can a loser ever win? Please help me mend my broken heart and let me live again.
“I can still feel the breeze that rustles through the trees and misty memories of days gone by. We could never see tomorrow but no one said a word about the sorrow. How can you mend a broken heart? How can you stop the rain from falling down? How can you stop the sun from shining? What makes the world go round? And how can you mend this broken man? How can a loser ever win? Please help me mend my broken heart and let me live again.”
How Deep is Your Love: “I know your eyes in the morning sun. I feel you touch me in the pouring rain. And the moment that you wander far from me I want to feel you in my arms again. And you come to me on a summer breeze, keep me warm in your love then you softly leave. And it’s me you need to show how deep is your love, how deep is your love, how deep is your love? I really mean to learn, ’cause we’re living in a world of fools, breaking us down when they all should let us be. We belong to you and me. I believe in you. You know the door to my very soul. You’re the light in my deepest, darkest hour. You’re my savior when I fall and you may not think I care for you when you know down inside that I really do.
“And it’s me you need to show how deep is your love, how deep is your love, how deep is your love? I really mean to learn ’cause we’re living in a world of fools breaking us down when they all should let us be. We belong to you and me.
