FARMINGTON — Reading Rocks, the summer reading program at Farmington Public Library, 117 Academy St., will through Saturday, Aug. 4.
Readers of all ages will read and keep a record of their progress in order to qualify for prizes donated by local businesses. A library card is not required to participate. However, all Regional School Unit students are entitled to a free library card.
Reading Rocks will also feature sound science, musical instruments to make, and regular weekly programs, including:
• Baby Rhymes, 10 a.m. Wednesdays;
• Preschool Story Hour, 10 a.m. Fridays;
• Owl Club for school-age children, 3:30 p.m. Wednesdays;
• Art Together for all ages, 3 p.m. Fridays; and
• Saturday Stories for all ages, 11 a.m. Saturdays.
