LEWISTON — Lewiston School Committee, workshop on superintendent search with Steve Bailey, executive director of Maine School Management Association, 6 p.m., Dingley Building, followed by regular meeting. On agenda: nominations of interim principal for Martel and Longley elementary schools and interim assistant principal at Lewiston High School; collective bargaining agreement; discussion of  tragic loss of Lewiston Middle School student, field trip procedures.

LEWISTON — Planning Board, 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chamber at City Hall. 

TUESDAY, June 26

AUBURN — Chicks with Sticks Steel Drummers concert, 3-4 p.m., front lawn of  Auburn Public Library, concert kicking off teen summer reading program; in case of rain, concert will be in the library’s Androscoggin Room.

LEWISTON — Lewiston Summer Fun & Films, hosted by the Lewiston Police Department and the Gendron Franco Center. First movie of the summer is, “The Lion King” at Simard-Payne Memorial Park. Activities start at 6 p.m., movies at dusk.

AUBURN — Complete Streets Committee, 6 p.m. in the Community Room at Auburn Hall. 

AUBURN — Auburn’s 150th Anniversary Committee, 6 p.m. at the Auburn Public Library. 

THURSDAY, June 28 

AUBURN — Auburn Housing Authority board of commissioners, 7:30 a.m. at the Roak Block, 156 Main St.

AUBURN — Edward Little High School Building Committee, 6-8 p.m., Council Chambers of Auburn Hall. Meeting begins with updates, members will then go into executive session to discuss site selection.

SATURDAY, June 30

AUBURN — A special “Happy Birthday America” story time for children, Auburn Public Library, hosted by the Wallace family, stories, songs, crafts and a cake. Space is limited, register your child at the library for this program.
