LEWISTON — A ribbon cutting and open house was held at 40 Stanley St. on June 12 to celebrate the completion of significant renovations in Community Credit Union’s Auburn Branch.
CCU employees, board members, community partners and members participated in the event. Mac’s Grill catered the event.
Beckie Conrad, executive director of the LA Metro Chamber of Commerce, led the ceremonies. Speakers included Todd Mason, president of the Maine Credit Union League; Marcel Gagne, chairman of the Board of Directors for Community Credit Union; Jason Levesque, mayor of Auburn; representatives from the offices of U.S. Sen. Angus King, U.S. Rep. Bruce Poliquin and U.S. Sen. Susan Collins. Also attending was Jen Hogan, president/CEO of Community Credit Union.
“Community Credit Union prides itself on our commitment to our members and the community,” Hogan said. “The renovated branch provides avenues to better serve our members, expand on products and services offered and continue to serve our community as we always have.”
Community Credit Union is a member-owned, full service financial institution that has been serving its members since 1945. The renovations at the Auburn and Lewiston branches over the past several months resulted in a substantial reinvestment.
