BRADENTON, Fla. — Jeraldine C. Gay, of Bradenton, Fla., passed away Saturday, June 23, at the age of 80. She was born May 20, 1938, in Knox.

Jeri attended the Hungry Hollow Elementary School and graduated from South Paris High School in 1957. She always attended the Methodist church. She worked with various companies building lifelong friendships.

As of late, she had spent her time creating beautiful paintings, sewing quilts for her grandchildren and was actively involved with the Cambridge Village ladies and activities.

She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Richard; daughters Zoi and her husband, Mark Gervais; Deborah and her husband, Brian Way; and Richelle Mazziotti; and son, Solomon, and his wife, Gail Gay; four grandchildren: Paul Mazziotti, Elissa and Nathaniel Gervais, and Katherine Way; brothers Butch Balkun of Delano, Tenn., and Dale Piirainen of West Paris; sister, Diane Rainy, of West Paris; and uncle, Veikko Piirainen, of West Paris.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Honnor Curtis and Carl Piirainen.
