The Southern Maine Squadron of the Sampson AFBVA will meet at noon Thursday, July 12, at the Chickadee. This is an informal monthly get-together of veterans who went through basic training at Sampson Air Force Base and their guests. Prior to the Air Force use, the base was used as a Navy training base.
