Lakeside Chapter, OES, to meet
WALES — Lakeside Chapter No. 60, Order of the Eastern Star, will hold its Stated Meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, at the Grange-Masonic Hall, 322 Centre Road.
The Chapter will honor the station of “Ruth.” Grand Ruth Debora Caldwell has been invited. Grace will be said, and light refreshments will be provided by Lucille Bauer and Betty Leighton after the meeting.

Bone marrow donors sought
Two bone marrow cheek swab events will take place in Lewiston and Sabattus. Bone marrow donors are sought to help those serious illness, including cancer or immune diseases.
The Lewiston swab will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, at the Carriage House, 1119 Lisbon St.
The Sabattus check will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Friday, July 13, at Maxwell Gill Hall, 131 High St.
Lewiston Democrats to meet
LEWISTON — The Lewiston Democratic Party will be holding its monthly meeting from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, at the Lewiston Armory.
Participants should enter through the right-most front door, and enter the first room on the right at the top of the stairs.
The meeting is open to those who want to get involved in local or state politics. Voter registration is not required to attend.
Lisbon Historical Society open house
LISBON — The Lisbon Historical Society will have an open house at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, in the society’s archives in the MTM Center at 18 School St.
This will be a chance for visitors to look over the exhibits and resource materials. The archivist and volunteers will also be available to help with historical and family research questions.
