NORWAY — Stephanie A. Sirois, 39, of Mechanic Falls passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 4, at Stephens Memorial Hospital with her family by her side. She was born in Lewiston on Nov. 17, 1978, the daughter of Deborah A. Buckley and the late Alfred L. Sirois. She grew up in the Auburn area and attended local schools.
Stephanie will always be remembered for her infectious laugh and smile, as well as her passion for bringing joy to the people around her. She will be deeply missed by many and has touched many lives.
She is survived by her mother, Deborah Buckley, and her husband, Stephanie’s stepfather, Curtis Buckley, of Monmouth; as well as her brother, Brian Sirois, of Monmouth; her twin sister, Missy Freeman, and her husband, Jamie, of Lewiston; her sister, Nicole Erickson, and her husband, Jesse, of Auburn. She also leaves behind her two nieces, Lexi and Maddy; and her two nephews, Tyler and Aidan.
She was predeceased by her father, Alfred Sirois, as well as her maternal and paternal grandparents.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude toward the staff at the John F. Murhpy Home in Mechanic Falls, as well as the nurses and doctors at Stephens Memorial Hospital for the compassion and devotion they showed Stephanie for many years and even in her final days.
