PORTLAND (WGME) – A girl from Louisiana is on a mission to hug police officers in all 50 states.

Monday, she hugged officers in Maine.

Eight-year-old Rosalyn Baldwin is making national news for her mission.

Police from South Portland and Portland are sharing photos of her visit Monday.

Maine is the 33rd state she’s visited so far.

Rosalyn says her intent is to “unite communities by demonstrating her sincere love and appreciation for those who have committed their lives to serving and protecting the people of our nation.”
