The barbecue will be served beginning at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, at the Chesterville Town Office.

LIVERMORE FALLS — Emmanuel Assembly of God will offer food and fellowship during its free barbecue lunches on the second Saturday of each month through September.
These meals will take place outdoors, weather permitting, across the street from the American Legion building on Reynolds Avenue.

MEXICO — Mexico Congregational Church, UCC, nicknamed the “Green Church,” will serve a public, comfort food supper at 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, at 163 Main St.

LOCKE MILLS — Post No. 68, American Legion, will have a supper and dance from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14, at 595 Gore Road. Doors will open at 4 p.m.
The casserole supper with homemade pies will cost $8, attending the dance will cost $5, or both will cost $13. The cost for those younger than 12 will be $5 for both the supper or dance.

OTISFIELD — The Otisfield Community Cook Out will be from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, at the Otisfield Community Hall, 292 Route 121.

WATERFORD — The last Waterford Summer Breakfast will be from 7:30 to 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, at the Wilkins Community House at the foot of Plummer Hill Road, next to the Waterford Congregational Church.
The price is $8 for adults, $4 for children ages 5 to 10, and free for children younger than 5.
The basement of the Wilkins House will be the site of indoor yard sales from 7:30 to 11 a.m. This is the last year for the yard sale.
Proceeds from the breakfasts help with the upkeep of the Wilkins Community House. Income from the yard sales goes to the maintenance funds for the Wilkins Community House and the Waterford Congregational Church.
