RUMFORD — Hope Association will have a garage sale for its What-Not-Shop  from 9:30 to 1 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, Aug. 20 to 24 and Aug. 27 to 31.

LEWISTON — Tommy’s Feral Feline Friends will hold its Super Summer Yard Sale and Bottle Drive to help finance the work done for the feral cat colonies and their medical needs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Aug. 24 and 25, on Route 202, 700 Main St., across from Hurricane’s Cafe and next to Farris Equipment.

Damage throughout the feral cat colonies has been devastating, with many cats sick and needing care. The donated items, bottles and financial donations will go a long way to help the organization continue to save the lives of feral cats. For the past 40 years, Tommy’s Feral Feline Friends has been on a mission to continue the work on a daily basis.

Donated items in good condition and bottles may be brought to the yard sale on Friday and Saturday, Aug. 24 and 25. Rain dates are Aug. 31 and Sept. 1. Large items such as refrigerators, stoves and sofas cannot be accepted.

NORWAY — First Universalist Church of Norway will have an indoor yard sale from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 25, at 479 Main St.

NORWAY — The friends and members of the Second Congregational Church, U.C.C., are almost ready for the 19th annual Tent-N-Treasures Yard Sale, which will be held at 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, on Main Street.

According to Deb Ladner, one of the yard sale coordinators, among the thousands of cleaned and priced items, there is a canoe, bathtub, couches, antiques, apple crates, auto parts, tools, toys, trinkets, pans, pictures, books, chairs and bureaus.

The sale will happen rain or shine. It is under 10 tents, which will fill the entire church parking lot. Setup will will last late into Friday night, Aug. 24. The church is looking for volunteers to help; call the office to volunteer at 207-743-2290.

Youth group members and advisers will spend the night under the tents with all the treasures.

Refreshments will be available at 10:30 a.m. the day of the sale.

The revenue from the yard sale will be used to support the many missions of the Second Congregational Church.

WEST PARIS — The West Paris Historical Society will have an indoor yard sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, on Main Street.
