“Music for Mavis,” Tuesdays at the Turner Gazebo, brings The Cobblestones, a local band offering Americana music with tight harmonies and acoustic music. The band started about three years ago when Carolyn Costanzi, vocals, and Mike Plourde, guitar/vocals, met at an open mic at Tucker’s Pub in Norway. They started as a duo and added other musicians to provide a fuller sound, Mark Plourde, percussion; Ken Lloyd, bass and Danielle Tran, pianist/vocalist. Music begins at 6 p.m. due to fading light. A hat will be passed to pay the musicians. Suggested donation is $5. Bring a chair, bring a blanket and bring a friend. FMI: 207-753-0954.
