The Bernard Lown Peace Bridge between Lewiston and Auburn is scheduled to be closed Thursday evening for paving by the Maine Department of Transportation.

The bridge will be closed to traffic from 8 p.m. Thursday until 6 a.m. Friday.

The Auburn Police Department asks motorists to seek an alternate route.
