FARMINGTON — Old South First Congregational Church will serve its monthly free community luncheon with roast pork loin at noon Saturday, Sept. 8.
Delivery service will be available in Farmington. Call the church at 207-778-0424 during the week or the church kitchen at 207-778-4438 on the morning of the luncheon to have a meal delivered.

LEWISTON — Calvary United Methodist Church will start its fall and winter monthly bean suppers on Saturday, Sept. 8.
Serving will begin at 4:45 p.m., and those attending should enter through the garden entrance on Bartlett Street.
Cost will be $8 for adults and $3 for children younger than 10.

LIVERMORE FALLS — Emmanuel Assembly of God will offer food and fellowship during its free barbecue lunches on the second Saturday of each month through September.
These meals will take place outdoors, weather permitting, across the street from the American Legion building on Reynolds Avenue.

MINOT — The Minot United Methodist Church will host a bean and casserole supper from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, at Route 121 and Empire Road.
Tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for children ages seven to 12 and free for children younger than seven.

OTISFIELD — An old-fashioned spaghetti dinner will be held Saturday, Sept. 8, at the East Otisfield Free Baptist Church, on Rayville Road, off Route 121. Seatings will be at 4:30 and 5:30 p.m.
Cost will be by donation, which will support activities within the community. Vegeterian and gluten-free options will be available.

SUMNER — The Congregational Church of East Sumner will serve a beanhole bean public supper at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, at 50 Main St., Route 219, in conjunction with Camp and Carve Weekend.
The Western Maine Woodcarvers will camp on the church grounds from Friday to Sunday, Sept. 7 to 9. WMW members will be carving, instructing new carvers and selling their carvings.
Cost is $8 per person, $3 for ages six to 12, and free for children five and younger. The family maximum cost will be $22. There will also be a raffle. Proceeds will benefit the outreach missions of the Church.

The public is invited to attend lunches presented there on Mondays (except holidays) at 11:30 a.m.
