TOPSHAM — Illusionist and magician Chris Lengyel will be performing his show, “Chris Lengyel: Nothing Up My Sleeves,” at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, at The Orion Performing Arts Center, 66 Republic Ave. “Nothing Up My Sleeves” features everything from small intimate tricks, to mentalism and storytelling, all the way up to bigger stage-size illusions. It’s interactive, mind-boggling and fun for the whole family.
Lengyel has been doing magic for over a decade. He has performed his one-of-a-kind show to audiences all over the east coast, including public figures and celebrities. Lengyel is once again taking his show on the road, and is including new tricks and effects specifically for this tour.
Tickets are on sale, $15 for adults and $10 for students, and can be purchased in advance at the Maine School Administrative District 75 Business Office, 50 Republic Ave., or with credit card through Brown Paper Tickets online at www.orionperformingartscenter.org. Tickets will also be available at the door. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the house at 6:30. The show is a fundraiser for Orion capital projects, currently focused on upgrading the theatrical lighting.
The Orion Performing Arts Center is MSAD 75’s theater inside Mt. Ararat Middle School. Fully accessible, the theater hosts both school and community events and performances year-round, and is available for rent.
