AUBURN — Alex Roy scored the winning goal in the second overtime to give St. Dominic Academy a home boys’ soccer win over Traip on Tuesday.

St. Dom’s (2-1-1) took the lead in the first half when a free kick from Jack Ouellette was tipped in by a Traip player for an own goal. In the second half, Jack Bouffard of Traip (1-3) tied the game with less than two minutes remaining in regulation.

The Saints won when Roy scored off an assist from Gaston Fuksa.

St. Dom’s outshot Traip 23-18.

Oxford Hills 2, Messalonskee 1

OAKLAND — Spencer Strong and Will Dieterich each scored for Oxford Hills in its 2-1 boys’ soccer victory over Messalonskee on Tuesday.

Hunter Smith scored the Eagles’ only goal. Carter Lambert made 11 saves for Messalonskee (0-4-0).

The Vikings improve to 2-2-0 with the win.

Temple 5, Buckfield 2

BUCKFIELD — Noah Shepherd scored a pair of goals to lead the Bereans (2-1) to a 5-2 boys’ soccer victory over the Bucks.

Will Paradis, Yuma Takeda and Ilija Ivkovic also scored for Temple, while Nathaniel Wiles made six saves.

Daniel Perry and Victor Verrill scored for the Bucks (2-1).

York 3, Gray-New Gloucester 0

YORK — York scored three first-half goals en route to a 3-0 boys’ soccer win over Gray-New Gloucester on Tuesday.

Quenton Coventry, Nick Ranforth and Dillon Brodsky all scored for the Wildcats (2-1-1).

Patriots (0-2-0) goalkeepers Brannon Bilbert and Kyle Curtis combined to stop eight of the 12 shots they faced.

Mt. Abram 6, Wiscasset 0

SALEM — Alice Cockerham scored a hat trick to lead the Roadrunners to an MVC girls’ soccer win over the Wolverines in Salem on Tuesday.

Summer Ross, Maddie Phelps and Camryn Wahl added goals for Mt. Abram (5-0-0). Emily Kidd had two saves to earn the shutout.

Sydnie Thayer had six saves for Wiscasset (0-3-0).

Greely 4, Poland 1

CUMBERLAND — The Rangers (1-3-1) took a 1-0 lead over the visiting Knights (1-3) in the first half then tacked on another to begin the second and never looked back.

Julia Martel paced Greely with two goals, followed by a goal each from Brooke Obar and Skylar Cooney.

Poland made it 2-1 with 20 minutes remaining in the second half as Emma Mocciola scored.

Gabrielle Bolduc had 18 saves for the Knights; Greely’s keeper Savanah Lemieux saved seven.

Madison 8, Dirigo 0

DIXFIELD — Madison had four players score a pair of goals Tuesday afternoon in an 8-0 girls’ soccer win over Dirigo.

Landyn Landry, Jessica Turcotte, Grace Linkletter and Cara McCray all scored two goals each for Madison (2-2) in the win.

Katie Morse of Dirigo (0-4) saved 21 shots, while Madison’s Susannah Curtis saved two shots.

Messalonskee 9, Oxford Hills 1

PARIS — Messalonskee scored five goals in the first half en route to a 9-1 win over Oxford Hills in girls’ soccer action Tuesday.

Anika Elias had a hat-trick and an assist to lead the Eagles (3-1), two of those goals coming in the first half. Chloe Sisson scored both of her goals in the first and assisted Shawna Park’s lone goal in the second half.

Other goal-scorers for Messalonskee were Lydia Bradfield, Caitlyn Parks and Edin Sisson.

Oxford Hills’ only goal came from Cecelia Dieterich in the second half. The Vikings’ (2-1-1) goalkeeper, Jillian Douglas, saved 12 shots, while Ella Moore of Messalonskee saved six.

NYA 1, Rangeley 0

YARMOUTH — Catherine Reid scored the winning goal unassisted to lift the Panthers (2-2) over the Lakers (1-2) in Tuesday’s girls’ soccer game.

Carly Downey made three saves in the shutout.

NYA had 13 shots on goal; Rangeley finished with three.

Temple 4, Buckfield 2

BUCKFIELD — After a high-scoring first half, Temple Academy was able to pull away in the second to defeat Buckfield 4-2 on Tuesday in girls’ soccer.

Hannah Hubbard paced Temple (2-1) with a hat-trick, and Julianna Hubbard tacked on another in the win. Temple was outshot by Buckfield 12-9.

Buckfield scored both its goals in the first half, one each by Katy Henderson and Sami Patenaude.

Buckfield’s McKenna Ridlon and Ruby Cyr shared the goalkeeping responsibilities, saving four total shots. Temple’s Jaimee Feugil saved 12 shots in the victory.

York 1, Gray-New Gloucester 0

YORK — Jackie Tabora controlled the ball out of a skirmish in the box and passed to Nina Howe, whose quick shot eluded Chelsea Davis as the host Wildcats (3-1) beat the Patriots (2-2).

Howe’s goal came with 28:00 to play in regulation.

Davis had eight saves for Gray-New Gloucester, and Lily Brodsky stopped two shots for York.
