PORTLAND — Randall Jon Labbe, 66, a resident Livermore Falls, went to join his beloved wife, Carol, on Friday, Sept. 7, at Maine Medical Center, due to complications following heart surgery.
He was born Sept. 6, 1952 in Lewiston, the son of Lawrence Fournier and Beryl (Buck) Labbe Grafton. On May 26, 1973, he married Carol McDonald of Riley and they enjoyed 45 years together, before her passing May 17, 2018.
Randy worked for SAD 36 as a custodian and bus driver until he had to get done due to health issues. He enjoyed playing horseshoes, making people laugh, woodworking, anything to do with the outdoors, mowing, shoveling snow and he especially loved family gatherings.
He is survived by his son, Tod Labbe, and his wife, Heather, of New Vineyard; his daughter, Samantha Mitchell, and her husband, Richard, of Fayette; his brother, Gary Labbe, and wife, Sue, of Weld; sisters Brenda Bamford of Livermore and Sheila Labbe and companion, Tami, of Gray; four beloved granddaughters: Kaylie and Violet Mitchell, and Maekaya and Joel Labbe; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his parents; his wife, Carol; and his brother, Brian Labbe.
A celebration of life gathering will be announced at a later date. Arrangements by Finley Funeral Home, 15 Church St., Livermore Falls.
