AUBURN — Mathew D. Mercier, 32, of Auburn died Sunday, Sept. 9, at his residence.

He was born in Lewiston on April 14, 1986, the son of Roger Mercier and Bonnie Rousseau, and had been a resident of this community for all of his life.

He was educated in Auburn schools and a graduate of Edward Little High School, Class of 2004.

He was employed at Applied Technical Services.

Mathew will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends.

He is survived by his fiancée, Katie Hall, and their two children Damien and Maddisin Mercier; his parents Roger Mercier and Bonnie Rousseau; two sisters: Crystal Rousseau and Megan Mercier; his maternal grandparents Normand and Connie Rousseau; his paternal grandparents Roger Mercier and Valerie Giasson; a niece, Evelyn Eirby; a nephew, August Eirby; three uncles: Kevin, Craig and Chris Rousseau; one aunt, Lisa Lizotte; and many cousins.

Funeral services honoring Mathew’s life will be celebrated at 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14, at the Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home.
