WATERFORD – Hard to believe we are almost at the end of September I know it is a short month, but this seems too soon. Feels like I missed a week…
Went to the EV event at OXHCHS. It was great to see all those electric cars and talk to people coming to drive them and learn about them. Thank you CEBE for putting it on. It was a big day for me after having breakfast at the Grange in the a.m. Unfortunately, I missed the Lyme Support group because I couldn’t do it all.
Starting last Thursday and continuing for the rest of September, Irina Kahn is the featured artist of the month at Main Street Gallery in Norway. Go see her work, I am sure you will be glad you did. The gallery is located at 4245 Main St., Norway.
Sept. 21 through December there will be a Farmers Market in Greenwood at the old Greenwood Town Office, 260 North Main Street. I believe it is the only Farmer’s Market remaining for the season. The others are no longer operating. Check it out at 4 p.m. on Fridays. They even have gluten free pastries.
Saturday, Sept. 29 in Otisfield there is a community contra dance. Starting at 6 p.m. at the Otisfield Community Hall. I will be there if I can get a ride. It is getting dark earlier now. FMI call 539-3072.
Don’t forget the community breakfast at the Norway Grange Saturdays from 8-9 a.m. They are quite good, and all are welcome.
Also in Otisfield, lunches community lunch on Wednesdays at Otisfield Community Hall.
Due to carpel tunnel in both hands I will end this now. Have a great week and get ready for the Fryeburg Fair. It is almost here. If anyone has anything to put in this column, please call me at 744-2420.
