Terry Hayes is a bright, articulate, thoughtful individual who also is a good listener.

Free of party politics and the rancor and partisanship that accompanies the same, she is just the person needed at the Blaine House as Maine tackles the big problems of health care, education, the economy, energy and a myriad of other issues.

Highly respected by both major parties, she will take her leadership skills to the state’s highest office and will serve with dignity that will make Mainers proud.

I hope others will join me in electing the first woman as governor of Maine. It is time.
