1) What legislation do you support, if any, to address the state’s opiate crisis?
This crisis is getting worse, we need more rehabilitation programs statewide and we need to address this issue to our youth with more school programs to ensure we are taking a proactive approach.

2) What legislation do you support, if any, to address failures in the state’s child abuse prevention system?
We need more oversight programs/checks and balances to ensure the safety of our youth.

3) Should schools continue to push forward with proficiency-based diplomas? Why or why not?
I support the ability of local school districts to make a decision based on what they feel is best for their community.

4) Are you in favor of some type of universal health care for Maine residents? Why, or why not?
I believe universal health care should be a right and not a privilege. I will fight for coverage for all.

5) Do you support Question 1 (the 3.8% tax to fund the home care program)? Why, or why not?
I will always support the will of the people, however, I do have concerns with the private sector making determinations on what to do with taxpayers’ money.

6) Are you frustrated by the political sniping, exaggeration and even lies between the parties and their supporters that have threatened progress usually reached through respect and reasoned compromise? If so, what will you personally do to make the situation better?                                                                                            Yes, the current political environment is very hostile. I believe we must work together regardless of party to do what is best for Maine. I will not run a negative campaign.

7) Tell voters something about yourself that they don’t already know, and might surprise them.
I have dedicated my campaign to my two beautiful daughters. I am running for office to ensure a brighter future for them.
