AUBURN — A Turner man was indicted Tuesday on nearly two dozen charges of having sexually explicit images of children on his phone.
Miguel A. Roman Jr., 41, was indicted by an Androscoggin grand jury on 21 counts of possession of sexually explicit materials of a child under 12 and two counts of possession of sexually explicit materials of a child under the age of 16.
According to a police affidavit, detectives discovered the images on Roman’s phone during an investigation into a complaint of sexual abuse of a minor in May.
Roman was arrested and posted $5,000 cash bail in May. He is barred from having contact with any child under 18 years old and from possessing a device that can connect to the internet while free on bail.
