AUBURN — Vickie L. Jamison, 53, of Rumford passed away Friday, Oct. 5, at the Hospice House in Auburn, surrounded by loving family, following a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Mexico on April 17, 1965, a daughter of Charles W. and Grace E. (White) Jamison.

Vickie was educated in Rumford schools and was a graduate of Rumford High School, Class of 1984.

She loved stamping, making cards and floral arrangements, and listening to Christmas music.

Vickie was employed with Hope Association for several years.

She enjoyed watching the Boston Celtics, Boston Red Sox, Boston Bruins and New England Patriots.

She was a 15-year member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and volunteered at many functions, including running the bingo program.

For eight years, Vickie was a volunteer and participant with Relay for Life.

Surviving are her sons Benjamin Jodrey and wife, Emily, of Rumford, and Milo Jodrey of Mexico; sisters Donna Touchette of Bristol; Crystal Touchette of Rumford; Denise Oakes and husband, Wayne, of Rumford; and Theresa Lemay and husband, Mike, of Rumford; brother, Donald Touchette, and wife, Karen, of Rumford; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents and niece, Elizabeth.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, at S.G. Thibault Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 12, at S.G. Thibault Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Demeritt Cemetery.
