GRAY — The National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning for central and western Maine for tonight, with temperatures expected to go below 32 degrees.
As part of the service’s Hazardous Weather Outlook, it said the freeze warning was extending from midnight to 8 a.m. Sunday.
The Rangeley area will see even lower temperatures, with lows in the mid-20s, according to the NWS as of noon today.
Temperatures into the first few days of next week are predicted to warm up slightly for central and western Maine, with daytime temperatures in the 50s and nighttime lows in the 40s.
