BUCKFIELD — Molly Bourget scored the only goal Buckfield needed for an 1-0 East/West Conference girls’ soccer victory over Richmond on Tuesday.
The win is the Bucks’ first over the Bobcats’ in more than 10 years.
Bourget’s goal came with 15 minutes remaining in the game. Hannah Shields and Julia Dow set up the score. Ruby Cyr made eight saves for the Bucks (8-5-1).
Liz Johnson made nine saves for the Bobcats (10-3-1).
Gray-NG 5, Greely 1
GRAY — Laurel Thomas and Alexa Thayer each scored a goal and recorded an assist as the Patriots (8-6) cruised to a 4-1 halftime lead and a 5-1 girls’ soccer victory over the Rangers (6-7-1) on Tuesday.
Bri Jordan, Abby Ross and Emma West also scored. Chelsea Davis made seven saves.

Monmouth 3, Winthrop 0
WINTHROP — Audrey Fletcher, Abbie Crawford and Brie Smith each scored a goal to lead the visiting Mustangs to a 3-0 MVC girls’ soccer win over the Ramblers.
Emma Johnson made eight saves for Monmouth (13-1-0), while Brooke Burnham stopped eight shots for Winthrop (9-4-1).
Mountain Valley 3, Wiscasset 1
WISSCASSET — Kylee Pelletier sparked a second-half comeback for Mountain Valley with two goals in a 3-1 win over Wiscasset in a girls’ soccer contest Tuesday.
Kierstyn Lyons had the third goal in the second half for the Falcons (2-12). Courtney Therrien and Saydie Garbarini each had assists in the win. Taylor Henry made 14 saves in net.
Kateleen Trask gave the Wolverines a 1-0 lead in the first half off an assist by Gwen Webber. Lilly Sousa made 10 saves in the loss.
Field hockey
Fryeburg 2, Leavitt 1, OT
FRYEBURG — Kaylee Emery used a reverse-stick shot to score 52 seconds into overtime, sending the second-seeded Raiders (11-2-2) into the B South semifinals with a 2-1 quarterfinal win over No. 7 Leavitt (7-8) on Tuesday.
Abigail Hewes started the winning play, breaking to the top of the circle and passing to Cam Jones. She let go a quick pass to Kirsten Wentworth, who hit the ball just wide of the far post, but Emery was there to reach out with her backhand and tap home the game-winner.
Fryeburg led 1-0 at the half on Ryan Duffy’s goal from Hewes.
Colleen Mathieu scored from Ginny Twitchell as the Hornets tied the match with 7:33 left in regulation.
Leavitt goalie Mallory Casey had 11 saves, and Bailey Richardson two for the Raiders.
Spruce Mountain 7, NYA 2
JAY — Avery Williams and Isabelle Castonguay each had two goals and an assist in Spruce Mountain’s 7-2 victory over North Yarmouth Academy in a Class C South quarterfinal field hockey contest Tuesday.
Emily Castonguay also had two goals for the Phoenix (9-5-1), and Erin McPherson contributed one.
Amber Rose and Katie Larson each had a goal for NYA (6-8), while Maggie Larson picked up two assists.
Melissa Bamford made five saves in the victory for Spruce Mountain, and Kylie Rogers turn aside 16 shots in the losing effort.
The Phoenix will face Dirigo in the C South semifinals later this week.
Boys’ soccer
Cony 2, Oxford Hills 1
AUGUSTA — Uday Najar scored on a corner kick served up by Miqueas Biasuz in overtime to give Cony at 2-1 win over Oxford Hills in Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A boys’ soccer action Tuesday.
Hussein Albraihani netted an unassisted goal to open the scoring with 25 minutes left in the first half for Cony (5-7-1).With 12 minutes remaining, Will Dietrich tied the game for Oxford Hills (7-7-0).
Joanna Benoini made four saves for the Rams, while Sam Morton stopped nine shots for the Vikings.
Monmouth 2, Lisbon 1
LISBON — Hayden Fletcher scored with 1:51 remaining to lift Monmouth to a 2-1 boys’ soccer victory over Lisbon on Tuesday.
Mikey Dolan scored earlier in the second half for the Mustangs (11-3) to tie the score at 1-1.
The Greyhounds (5-8-1) took a 1-0 lead in the first half on a goal by Levi Levesque that was set up by senior Cam Poisson.
Monmouth next plays in the Class C South postseason, which it enters as the fifth seed. Lisbon looks like it will fall a few Heal points shy of the playoffs.
Wiscasset/Boothbay 5, Spruce Mountain 0
WISCASSET — Matt Chapman had a a goal and an assist to pace Wiscasset/Boothbay past Spruce Mountain on Tuesday.
Tim Chappelle, Jordan Espeut, Bayly Gaughan-Carrasco and John Hodson each had a goal for Wiscasset/Boothbay (6-8).
Caleb Gabriele made nine saves in the shutout. Jacob Bryant also had nine saves for Spruce Mountain (2-12).
