I first met Kristen Cloutier at a USM-Lewiston-Auburn College Community Advisory Board meeting. By the end of that meeting, I had a clear understanding of the passion that Cloutier has for this community. Meetings like this are not one-offs for her. If there is a group getting together to talk about and act upon ways to get positive things done in Lewiston, Cloutier will be there.
She consistently looks at all sides of an issue/problem and finds solutions that benefit all involved.
When I was contemplating running for School Committee, she was the first person, outside of my family, that I spoke to about it. Because she has worked tirelessly to bridge the relationship between the City Council and the School Committee I look to her for guidance and depend on her sensibility.
A vote for Kristen Cloutier is a vote for the betterment of Lewiston.
