POLAND — Gathering Winds Farm and Orchard at 315 Poland Corner Road has been chosen by the Poland Community and Economic Development Committee to receive the quarterly Excellence in Business Award.

Owners Stacey and John Bsullak purchased the farm three years ago. The small family farm raises hogs and poultry seasonally on pasture and has more than 900 apple trees. A farm stand that is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. until Dec. 23.

The Bsullaks have a strong commitment to the community and have hosted a military and EMS appreciation day, a farmers’ market, a harvest moon yoga event at sunset and recently hosted 32 prekindergartners from Poland Community School.
