On Tuesday afternoon nearly 200 Lewiston-Auburn men will leave for Fort Williams. Lewiston men will gather at 4:30 p.m. at City Hall and Auburn men at the same hour in Court Square. The canteen committee of the Red Cross will accompany them at their stations, caring for their luggage. P.F. Dondero, who is the captain of the committee, will be in charge of Lewiston and F.W. Robie, who is lieutenant to Dondero, will have charge in Auburn. The departure for this quota unmarked by any celebration or demonstration is none the less impressive and none the less do these cities appreciate the measure of their departure and its spirit.

The board indicated that while they personally favor fluoridation of the Lewiston water supply, they felt the Board of Education as a body does not give its endorsement.
