I have admired Janet Mills from afar for a number of years in her role as attorney general of Maine. She does her work with integrity, energy and grit. She has worked diligently to defend and protect Maine’s most vulnerable.

She has a thoughtful, well-developed plan for how to move Maine forward in the future. Her detailed ideas are based on facts, not some empty promises.

I really came to admire Mills when I met her in person. Her humor and honesty are the result of a life well-lived, a life that has included raising five stepdaughters and an almost 30-year marriage to her husband before he passed away. She is loyal and truthful.

I feel privileged to get to know her in person and lucky to be able to vote for her for Maine’s next governor.
