On Tuesday, we will all have an opportunity to decide our future for the next several years.

Perhaps it’s your choice to resist, but why? What exactly are you resisting? Is it the economy, or national security, or our foreign policy, or border security, or is it that you want to impeach Trump or Kavanaugh?

1) Our economy is on very solid ground with gross domestic product over 4 percent, which is providing an unemployment rate of 3.7 percent.

2) Both Hispanic and black unemployment rates are at all-time lows.

3) In spite of the unemployment rate being the lowest since 1969, a record number of jobs —  over 7 million — are unfilled.

4) Over 860 Obama-era regulations have been repealed, enhancing the growth of all levels of business activity.

5) NAFTA has been replaced by the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement, which is far more beneficial for our country.

6) A new trade agreement with South Korea has been reached, which again benefits our economy.

7) A new trade agreement is close to being finalized with the European Union, but more is still to be done with China. When the agreement is reached with the EU, much stronger concerted pressure can be placed on China to respond favorably.

8) The Pacific Trade Partnership was not accepted as it was not a good deal for the United States.

9) ISIS is being destroyed.

10) The nuclear arms agreement with Iran has been dissolved and new sanctions on oil were scheduled to begin on Nov. 1. This will create massive pressure on the Iranian economy and hopefully bring them to the table to negotiate an acceptable agreement on the restraint of nuclear weapons. There is a significant possibility that these sanctions may bring an economic collapse or create enough unrest to bring about the initiation of regime change.

11) Although at this point the denuclearization of North Korea has not moved to a significant extent, negotiations are ongoing and missile launches have ceased. I believe within the next year this will begin to become reality.

12) For the first time in many years, the Supreme Court has a majority that believes in making judgments based on the Constitution as written, and not as a living document to be modeled on liberal philosophy.

These successes are based on conservative values.

The other option would be for Democrats to call the shots for:

1) Free Medicare for all, with a $32 trillion price tag.

2) Free college tuition for all, with no identified way to pay for it.

3) Guaranteed income for all. Again, who is to pay for this one?

4) Open borders and illegal immigration. Do you believe our country can exist allowing this to become reality?

5) Elimination of ICE. Who will control illegals, if this happened? No one. Would crime increase?

6) Impeachment of Trump and/or Kavanaugh, but on what grounds?

Which of the following would the founding fathers of our country be  pleased with:

a) Nancy Pelosi, Maxine Waters or Kamala Harris calling for confrontations with any political opponent at a restaurant, a gas station, or their home?

b) Antifa-hooded thugs that wreak destruction on businesses or buildings of their choice?

c) Eric Holder and Cory Booker calling for kicking down or threatening opponents?

d) Hillary Clinton believing that Republicans should not be given any consideration of civility?

e) Raising taxes to stifle business?

These are our choices. Choose wisely.
