PARIS — Bail was set Wednesday afternoon at 11th District Court for seven of nine people arrested in Rumford and Mexico during a drug sweep that netted cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine and $20,000 in cash.
Five search warrants were executed Monday evening and police seized cocaine and heroin prepackaged for distribution, 800 oxycodone pills, $20,000 in suspected drug proceeds and scales, according to Stephen McCausland, spokesman for the Maine Department of Public Safety.
The coordinated operation by Maine Drug Enforcement agents and state, county and local police was part of a monthlong investigation into drug trafficking by local and out-of-state residents.
Bail ranged from $500 to $10,000 cash for the seven suspects. They are:
• Tymel Albritton, 19, of Brooklyn, New York, charged with felony trafficking in crack cocaine and aggravated trafficking in heroin. His bail was set at $10,000 cash.
• Scott Bousquet, 30, of Rumford, charged with felony aggravated trafficking in oxycodone. His bail was set at $5,000 cash or $25,000 real estate.
• James Foss, 38, of Mexico, charged with felony trafficking in crack cocaine and methamphetamine, and two counts of violation of bail conditions. His bail was set at $5,000 cash or $1,000 cash with a Maine pretrial contract.
• Mickiel James, 30, of Dorchester, Massachusetts, charged with felony trafficking in crack cocaine and oxycodone. His bail was set at $2,000 cash, or $500 cash with a Maine pretrial contract.

Conditions of release for all seven included no use or possession of illegal drugs, being subject to random search and testing, and having no contact with one another.
They are scheduled to appear in court Jan. 30, 2019.
