No. 2 Oxford Hills (7-2) at No. 1 Portland (8-1)

Star-studded matchup to say the least. The region’s two best teams combined to fill 19 of 39 spots on the A North all-conference team.
No. 2 Scarborough (7-1) at No. 1 Thornton Academy (9-0)
Class A South final
Saturday, 1 p.m.
Last year, it was the Red Storm that had a bevy of game-breaking weapons, and clubbed the Trojans in the regional final 49-7. This year, it’s the Trojans with an embarrassment of riches on offense.
No. 4 Lawrence (6-4) at No. 3 Brunswick (7-3)
Class B North final
Friday, 7 p.m.
The Bulldogs have been on a mission since the Dragons blew them out, 55-28, on Oct. 5. But as a No. 3 vs. 4 final shows, the conference has been about matchups all season, and this just may be one that Lawrence can’t solve.

No. 7 Oak Hill (5-5) at No. 1 Wells (10-0)
Class D South final
Friday, 7 p.m.
The new Class D’s first dynasty against what is most likely its newest dynasty, but a Raider victory would rank among the all-time upsets in state history.
No. 2 Bucksport (8-1) at No. 1 Foxcroft Academy (9-0)
Class D North final
Saturday, 7 p.m.
If the regular season is to be believed, you won’t find a better matchup this weekend. The Ponies beat the Golden Bucks, 21-20, on Sept. 21.
No. 2 Dirigo (8-1) at No. 1 Freeport (8-1)

Speedy Rams found the turf at their home away from home, Waterhouse Field, to their liking in 42-8 semifinal win over Greely.

Raiders won a Class C state title in 1963, but have never played in a regional champion10hip game.
8. Wells (10-0)
Warriors will have all of the pressure on them against an underdog Oak Hill team Friday night, but they like it that way.
9. Leavitt (9-1)
Hornets were fun to watch on Lewiston turf and would be an entertaining sight on Portland turf, too.
10. Brunswick (7-3)
Even with two teams standing, your guess is as good as ours in B South.
