LEWISTON — Five different Nordiques scored multiple goals, led by hat tricks from Zack Mullen and Armand O’Keefe, as Lewiston/Auburn rolled to a 14-1 win over the Long Beach Sharks at Androscoggin Bank Colisee on Sunday.

O’Keefe also notched three assists for L/A, which improved to 33-3 on the season.

Valeri Rykov, Joe Bisson and Cole Ouellette chipped in with two goals apiece. Bisson and Ouellette also had two assists each, while Sam Frechette (one goal, three assists) and Joshua Malone had three helpers apiece.

L/A scored 13 unansnwered goals in the second and third periods. Mullen’s first goal was the only one of the first period, coming 13:24 into the game. Eric Immel tied it for the Sharks (20-10-4) 25 seconds into the second period. 

O’Keefe broke the tie and kicked off the Nordiques’ onslaught with his first goal at 6:37 of the second. Rykov, Mullen, Bisson and O’Keefe added goals in the period as L/A started to pull away before an eight-goal third period.

L/A outshot Long Beach, 67-12. Owen Liskiewicz stopped 11 shots in net for the Nordiques.

L/A was 0-for-3 on the power play, Long Beach 0-for-4.
